CBTA, Competency-based Training and Assessment, is in many ways a new approach and a new fundamental view of training and competence. If we translate CBTA, it becomes Competency-based Training and Assessment. The latter in particular is completely new and also includes the employer&#039;s task of continuously assessing the employee&#039;s competence. Here it is important to emphasize the employer&#039;s significantly increased responsibility for maintaining competence within the company. It is no longer enough to send employees on a course and if they pass the exam, everything is in order. No, that is a bygone era.
