This training will give you a good knowledge of the ADR regulations, their content and their structure. After completing the training, you will be able to demonstrate, with the help of the regulations, how to prepare a shipment for the transport of dangerous goods and answer the requirements for loading and carrying out the transport.
Target group
For those who are going to be ADR Instructors and train drivers according to ADR, chapter 8.2. The course is approved by MCF (The Swedish Civil Defence Authority)

- Marking and signage of vehicles, tanks and containers

- Special provisions for domestic transport.
- Requirements for organizations and teachers who train drivers according to ADR, 8.2.
Course length
5 days (Monday - Friday)
NOTE! Day 1 begins on Monday at 12:00 with lunch. The remaining days begin at 08:00.
End time: approx. 16:30
Previous knowledge
In order to be approved as an ADR Teacher, MCF sets the following minimum requirements:
- Approved training for ADR Teachers, as above.
- Strengthened pedagogical knowledge.
Degree
The course concludes with a written knowledge test in the classroom.
Other
It is mandatory to bring your own regulations (ADR-S 2025, MSBFS 2024:10)
If you are missing regulations, we offer ADR-S including register tabs through our webshop.
Approximately 30 days before the start of the course, you will receive a number of study assignments related to ADR that are important for you to complete before the start of the course. The purpose is to give you an insight into the Law and Regulation that form the basis for the regulations. We will review these later during the training.
The course is conducted jointly with those taking the course ADR - Dangerous Goods by Road (Safety Advisor).
ADR Teacher Training is carried out in several stages.
A mandatory 5-day basic course, as above, which provides the skills to train drivers who need an ADR certificate for ADR basics.
The basic training can then be built on with training that provides the authority to train drivers in transport of class 1, class 7, and tanks, as well as practical training that gives the teacher the opportunity to carry out the practical part themselves.
