Public Health Agency

The Public Health Agency of Sweden was established on 1 January 2014 and has taken over the tasks that were previously assigned to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases. This means that the authority is tasked, among other things, with monitoring the epidemiological situation regarding infectious diseases among humans and promoting protection against such diseases. When it comes to the transport of dangerous goods, there are collaboration issues around requirements for the transport of class 6.2.
